Ordering our Moisture Meters
Faulty goods
Although it will be a rare event indeed for any Electrophysics product to fail, we do suggest that you keep the shipping carton and packing material safely stored, so that the moisture meter will be properly protected if it should have to be returned to us. Your moisture meter is automatically guaranteed for two years from the date of shipping except for the steel pins used to probe the wood. The moisture meter is a very sensitive electronic device, and when not in use it should be stored in a dry place, preferably indoors at room temperature. Undue heat, cold or excess humidity can all damage (or at least affect the accuracy of) even the quality components used by Electrophysics.Never try to remove the rear of the moisture meter case, except for for the sliding battery compartment cover (unless you are following our separate instruction sheet in order to replace a broken pin). If there is any evidence of internal tampering, or if the moisture meter has not been used according to the instuctions supplied with it, the two year guarantee is invalidated. This does not affect your statutory rights. back to top
